Multiple Timers

Countdown to a Date

Pick a date, add a time and a name if you like, and get a live countdown in days, hours, minutes and seconds. It rings when the moment arrives, and the link carries the countdown so you can share it.

How to use the countdown to a date

  1. Choose the date and, if it matters, the time. Add a title such as the name of the event.
  2. Press Start countdown. The days, hours, minutes and seconds update live.
  3. Use Copy link to share it: the date is in the address, so the countdown opens the same for anyone.
  4. When the moment arrives the alarm rings until you stop it.

How this timer works

Which time zone does it use?

Your device’s. The date and time you enter are read in your local time, and someone opening your shared link sees the countdown to that same wall-clock moment in their own zone.

Can I share a countdown?

Yes. Copy link puts the date, time and title into the address, so the page reopens with the same countdown for anyone who has the link. Nothing is stored on a server.

Does it keep counting when the page is closed?

It does not need to. The target is a fixed moment, so the countdown is recalculated from the clock every time the page opens and is always correct.

What if I enter a date that has already passed?

The countdown shows zero and the alarm rings, which is a quick way to check the tool works. Press Edit to set a new date.

Is it free, and do I need an account?

It is free with no account and no install. Everything runs in your browser, and your last settings are remembered on this device.
